Amy K. Bock, Vice President and Director

Amy K. Bock is an attorney at the Dallas law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP. Her practice takes in a broad range of commercial litigation, including civil appeals. Ms. Bock’s experience includes the defense of class actions and civil RICO cases, as well as municipal law and telecommunications issues. Ms. Bock began her legal career at Akin Gump in 1995. She joined the City Attorney’s Office for the city of Dallas in 2000, where she handled federal civil rights class actions, as well as cases in the city and state courts and appeals at the state and federal levels. Ms. Bock rejoined Akin Gump in 2004. Ms. Bock received her B.A. cum laude in 1990 and her J.D. with honors in 1995 from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Bock actively raises, trains and competes horses in dressage as a member of USA Equestrian and the U.S. Dressage Federation. She also is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association as a breeder of American Lowline Angus cattle. In May 2002 Ms. Bock was voted one of "The Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas" in D Magazine.
