Suzanne Porter, Director

Suzanne Porter spent 15 years in strategy consulting and management with McKinsey & Company and Tenet Healthcare Corporation. She has a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Presently, she is a partner in Animal Imaging which provides diagnostic services from x-rays to MRIs for horses and small animals. Ms. Porter was a competitive jumper as a teenager in England and her love for horses has been passed on to her two boys who are active in the hunter jumper arena. She and her husband BG operate a family horse property, the Sleepy P Ranch, located in Bartonville, Texas. Along with her service to the Texas Horse Park board, Ms. Porter serves on the public company board for Affirmative Insurance and the not-for-profit board of the Dallas Children’s Theater.
